A qualified, PECO contractor (Danella Construction) is working in Avondale Borough to replace natural gas equipment, which will require minimal work inside customer properties. All work will be done by appointment and the appointments are being made by Robin Dougar from Danella. Her number is 610-908-9001. All employees and contractors are in marked Danella vehicles and have proper Danella identification. The work being conducted includes replacing the equipment on natural gas meters that safely regulates natural gas pressure as it moves from PECO’s equipment to customer properties.

Most of the work will be performed outdoors, however, Danella representatives will need to enter customer properties to relight appliances after the work at the meter. This indoor inspection and work should only take approximately 30-60 minutes. Work will be performed as quickly as possible with safety as the priority. This equipment replacement program is a requirement of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
