When a snow emergency is declared by the Mayor or the Emergency Management Coordinator you will have two hours to remove your vehicle from the snow emergency route. If your vehicle is not removed, you are in violation of the ordinance and your vehicle will be towed by the Borough.
All vehicles must be removed from the Snow Emergency within 2 hours. Vehicles left along snow emergency routes will be towed by an authorized towing contractor when abandoned, inoperative, or when the owner is unwilling or unable to remove the vehicle.A clear emergency route must be maintained to ensure the safety and general welfare of all residents during snow removal operations.
The following streets are designated as Snow Emergency Routes:
Baltimore Pike Route 41 (Pennsylvania Avenue)
West State Street
Miller Drive
Cook Court
Garner Drive
Mullen Drive
Indian Run Road
Williamson Drive
East Second Street
