Avondale Borough is holding a Residential Holiday Lights Contest! There is no fee to enter, and winners will receive cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
Judging will take place on Sunday December 14th/15th, and winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will be awarded based on number of votes cast.
Winning displays will receive a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place sign placed in front of their homes. Prizes will be awarded during the December 17th, Borough Council meeting at 7pm.

RULES:
- Contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior.
- Participation is open to all residents of the Avondale Borough.
- The contest begins December 3rd at 6:30pm and runs through December 15th at 8:00pm.
- Participants should ensure all lights, animations, and decorations are in place and activated for the judging period on December 15th, between 6:30p- 8:00pm.
- Participants must also be willing to have their addresses appear online for public viewing.
- Winners will be announced online on the Avondale Borough website (www.avondaleboro.net) as well as receiving a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place yard sign placed in their yards on December 15th after 9:30pm.
