AVONDALE’S FREE LITTLE FOOD PANTRY

We wanted to let our residents know that the Free Little Pantry on Morris Avenue, located behind The Garage, will no longer be stocked by KACS (Kennett Area Community Services). This decision comes from new guidance given to KACS by Chester County Food Bank and Philabundance, directing them to discontinue support of Little Free Pantries.

This particular pantry has been the most used in the area, and the need for it is still very real in our community. While KACS will no longer be involved, anyone in the community is welcome to continue supporting the pantry on their own.

If you’d like to help, you’re encouraged to drop off non-perishable, shelf-stable food items directly into the pantry—no need to check with anyone first. Just make sure items are not expired.

Every little bit helps – thank you for your generosity!
