A big thank you to the great group of student volunteers from the Garage who gave up some of their school vacation time to come over and start planting flowers at the new Avondale Veterans Memorial Park. The official dedication of the Memorial Park is Saturday, May 31st at 10 am and we still have lots to do! While the weather is so nice, you should head over to the Memorial Park and relax on one of the benches that Nathan Schwing made as his Eagle Scout Project. If you are working in your yard and find you have extra bulbs or perennial plants that need a new home, the Borough would love to have some. Just give the office a call and we can pick them up from you or you can drop them off.
