PECO has notified us that they will be working in Avondale Borough tomorrow between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. During this time, power will be temporarily shut off in the following areas:

Garner Dr, Mullen Dr, Church St, Third St, Minor St, Thompson St, Maple St, Poplar St, and Henson St.

Other nearby areas may be affected, but at this time these are the locations PECO has identified. PECO states they are notifying all affected customers.

If your home or business will be impacted, we encourage you to plan ahead and, if possible, make arrangements to spend time elsewhere during the outage. Libraries, senior centers, or other community spaces can be good options.

Avondale Borough Hall, 110 Pomeroy Avenue will be open as a warming and charging station from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
