June 4: Water Service is restored. Repair work will continue sometime next week. This additional work should not affect anyone’s water service. Check back on Monday for updates.

June 3: There is a water leak at 6th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. KBX is working on the repair. They will be opening fire hydrants at 6th and Chatham and 5th and Chatham to reduce some of the pressure so the necessary repairs can be made. This will cause certain residents to experience low water pressure for the time the hydrants are open. Once the repair is made, KBX will close the hydrants. Once closed, residents will mostly likely experience brown looking water. Don’t worry. Let your faucets run until the water is clear. Remember to check your screens to make sure no debris is building up. We appreciate your patience while the repair is being done. Be sure to check back for updates.
